Morgan Hill Harley SUCKS ASS PART II

I have decided it's time to add another pony to my stable...looking at an '06 Ultra Classic. Yesterday I rode to House of Thunder to see what they had. Beautiful 06 2 tone black cherry/black '06 Ultra sitting in front of me. I literally stood there for 15 minutes going over every detail of the bike..looking at the sticker and what they were asking...NOT ONE sales person would talk to me...I pulled out my check book and started writing particulars down in it about the bike...still no love...so my old lady says "why is it no one will talk to us when we want to spend money" in a little than louder conversational voice...still nothing...in fact, the only person who asked me if I needed any help with ANYTING was the little hottie working in Motorclothes department...is this f&*king ridiculous or what?

So today I'm off to Penninsula, Fremont, Livermore, McGuires and maybe Green Valley or Santa Cruz to see if Harley would like to be so gracious as to take my f&%king money for a new bike....... I guess business is too good?

Any suggestions?

nice new 96in" , but i have had tons of trouble getting parts for them. hd in ca. have stopped selling non smog parts for them. K&N makes a air cleaner for them and power commender has just put out a new ECM, amd i was able to find olny a few pipes. thanks Ca., do you all know that a pumped up harley still put out less shit then a smogged car, and get better gas mileage . but here is what kills me, all of the harley dealerships have pulled there highout put shit, and they will not do 95in. kits any more, but HD just put out a 96in'er..............................................huh think about it.

I have a dent in my gastank that I want to get repaired. Has anyone had any experience with a good bike bodyshop that can do harley gas tank work? I think the other, more expensive option is to just replace the entire thing.

Thanks for the suggestions,

Hi All,

I am old to dirtbikes, new to Harley. While I was waiting at the checkout counter at the grocery store last night I flipped through a copy of "American Iron Magazine" that was on the newsrack. Anyone know anything about it? Seems like it had some pretty good Harley articles. Maybe someone has a different or better suggestion along the same lines. Thanks.

Morgan Hill Harley SUCKS ASS

After sitting on hold and being told that a part I was looking for was in and they only had one, the Morgan Hill HD parts guy was given my name and told to hold the part. The parts guy claimed to have checked to verify that the part was actually there.

So I drove all the way down to their Dealership and was told that in fact they did not have the part. No offer of a discount on a stock ignition was offered nor was the GM phased about what I had just been through.

This is piss POOR service to allow somene tr drive 25 mi out of their way based on a LIE from a parts guy.

Forwarned is forarmed. . . . . Deal with these folks and you no doubt will get the same crappy service.

When I related my story to the San Jose Dealership folks, the folks around me laughed as I guess Morgan Hill is "known" for this kind of treatment.

Ride Safe.

Just thought I would start this thing off so us riders in the Bay area have a place to meet and chat or set up rides. This is my first attempt at setting one of these up so any guidance and participation would be greatly appreciated.
